A Brief Introduction
this game is for the queer girlies (describing myself). Usually not huge on games without a clear end, but there is a story scattered throughout the environment as you explore and go through the character's arcs. I might add some more on Slime Rancher 2, but it is still very early access.
Slime Rancher is a fun, low-stakes game, and its focus is shooting, exploring, farming, and enjoying your time watching the stories of the characters play out before you (no direct player interaction w/ other characters, but you can progress their stories by giving them resources remotely). The game is addictive, so be warned! :D
Atmosphere
The atmosphere of Slime Rancher is calm, fun, and playful. Things get a bit more exciting when the Tarr show up, but over time they become easier to deal with as you have more experience.
Slime Rancher 2 has many of the same qualities as 1's areas, but 2 has an added layer of mystery extending into the main areas rather than being mainly sequestered off into the Ruins and the Glass Desert.
